The Moomin reflective “Bridge” backpack, inspired by the illustrations from the book The Magician’s Hat, radiates friendship and calm. In addition to its attractive appearance, the backpack is also safe in the dark: it has reflective fabric on the front, back and sides, so the wearer is visible from every direction. The backpack’s capacity is 15 litres. The main compartment is unpartitioned; the front has a small and a large pocket for items such as a phone and keys. The front panel also has an elastic mesh. There are mesh pockets on both sides for a water bottle or umbrella. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable, making the backpack comfortable to carry.

Thanks to its design, the backpack’s reflectors are discreet in daylight while shining as brightly as a safety vest in the dark. The reflective material meets the EU standard EN 471 (high-visibility clothing). For comparison, safety vests should have a reflectivity rating of at least 250; this backpack’s reflectivity is 340–388 depending on the viewing angle. The Moomin backpack therefore reflects strongly and is visible from afar.
