Expenses related to depreciation in value

If you have used the item you have purchased, you will be responsible for the depreciation in its value. The depreciation in value is assessed on a case-by-case basis and it is influenced by factors such as possible dirt, wear and damage to the item.

Typical compensation charged for depreciation in value include:

• Vehicles priced below 10 000 €: 0,10 € / km for the distance driven after first 100 km
• Vehicles priced over 10 000 €: 0,30 € / km for the distance driven after first 100 km
• Machines: Always assessed on a case-by-case basis

We reserve the right to deduct the depreciation in value from the purchase price even if the matter providing grounds for the deduction was observed after the item was returned. The kilometer-based depreciation in value is not charged for the return trip. The costs of re-registration of items requiring registration (such as vehicles) shall be charged as direct costs of return. Said costs are usually € 46 per item to be registered. We reserve the right to recover the cost of cleaning the item if the item is not returned in a condition corresponding to the time of sale.
